Newest Junior Member
Deven is one of the newest members of Team Trinity. However, Deven has always had a place in our little family since he was about 11 years old. We were present at Devens’ first ever USPSA match when he was shooting Production with a Glock 19. Since then, we’ve come to like the not so little guy anymore. Deven, who now stands at 6’5″ tall is an all around great kid, and one heck of a shooter!
Deven is the 2018 US IPSC National Junior Champion, and most recently, the 2019 USPSA National Junior Champion. It was an honor to watch this young man at the 2019 USPSA Nationals achieve one his goals! After being introduced to USPSA, he knew that it was something he wanted to stick with long term, and has goals set to remain within the industry as he progresses. With the ultimate goal of hopefully joining the prestigious U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit. Deven has always wanted to try and experience all the other different types of competitive shooting sports, including IPSC, Steel Challenge, Precision Rifle, GSSF, 3-gun, trap, & skeet, but nothing really compares to the fast-paced, adrenaline-fueled style of USPSA shooting to him.
The best piece of advice Deven could give new shooters would be to..”try and gain as much knowledge as possible by listening to others and really watching how they do things. It helps big time!”
Devens’ favorite gun setup is a Honcho Race Ready.
In his free time Deven likes to play video games, and spend time with his Pit Bull, “Caliber”.
